In the fresh air
We decided to pay tribute to this lifestyle through one of its most recognizable symbols: taking the chair out into the fresh air. It is a tradition that goes back a long way. When the sun goes down, grandmothers go outside with their chairs to cool off and talk to their neighbors. An everyday scene that talks about sharing time, togetherness and living with the door open. An image that summarizes the natural relationship between interior and exterior, characteristic of the Mediterranean.
Houses are organized around courtyards, thick walls keep them cool, and windows open wide. Dining on the terrace, sheltering in the shade of the vines or taking the chairs out into the street in the evening are customs that are passed down from generation to generation.
